disney, disney everywhere.

Alright, so on Thursday I flew out to LA to do a show at the annual NAMM festival. Its a huge showcase for the music industry, something like 5,000 vendors showcasing new technology and products. It is where everyone comes to schmooze and hang out and connect with sponsors. The Shinys were playing a showcase for one of our main sponsors. We stayed at the Anaheim convention center Hilton.
It was a good time, I got to see a lot of new products, see a lot of famous musicians....GWAR was there so was the drummer for Poison....and across the hall were the crew for Black Label Society. party.....
There were tons of old rockers who have lived in a time warp for the last 20 years, long hair, that is obviously dyed and old enough to be my grandfather.

In any case I ate a lot of overpriced food, saw a lot of people I have worked with and some new sweet musical crap! Not to mention, I also got to see Billy Bob Thorton play some sweet rockabilly, with Unknown Hinson playing bass for him....

So to the good part. Our hotel was adjacent to Disneyland, and as you might know, i love disney....i love it.....so today after our showcase I took a shuttle there....I went in and got a nice dinner on main street, and watched the people walk in and out. Then I rode all my favorite Disneyland rides, Mr Toads, Pinocchio, Pirates. After I rode Pirates, I sat at the cafe near the ride and had some sweet dessert and coffee.
I also got to ride the Finding Nemo submarine adventure ride....that is awesome...i love submarines, someone should buy me one...seriously.

I gotta say, what a great time in L.A.
What a great time in Disneyland.

So tonight Im just in my hotel, catching up on emails and different things because we just got some more tour dates confirmed. That means youll be seeing me soon I should imagine.

Disney is friggin sweet.
