well it has been a pretty busy week....we hit up canada, and it was a grand time. by grand i mean cold and full of bums and mediocre food....i only ate tim hortons when i was in rochester....so....thanks for not a lot canada.
we came back into the states on thursday and played a show in new york city. i had dinner and some quality time with some amazing people from NC....that was super refreshing. this tour i have a little time to catch up with friends, and i need it.
we then went to new hampshire, and maryland, both days were lovely and warmer than we had been having lately. in maryland we had a rainstorm that nearly wiped the rejects set out, however they were able to play after all.....after the show we had a sand volley ball court near us and the buses..so we all had a bus/watergun/volleyball party.
we are spending a few days away from the tour so the rejects can do videos and tv shows.
their system tech, drew is doing monitors for us and he is riding on our bus. he is a good fellow from chicago, and its cool to have a new face on the bus....
tomorrow we have a day off in washington, d.c.....i cannot wait....i think will go to the lincoln memorial, maybe the smithsonian....who knows....who knows. in any case, the east coast has been kind and the states are getting warmer! i have to go work on some guitars now before our show in boston here.
NYC is for fools.
