the waiting is the hardest part...

i am in denver layovering, if that is even a word. this tour is over and i have roughly ten days off....then we ramp up for some more dates in june.

i keep seeing people in lines at the coffee shop.
i am in a seat in a concourse.
i am reading my calendar.
i am thinking.
i am making plans.....

we are all waiting, we are all waiting for something.
and in it all there seems to be some great divide....some sweet and sour thing about it.
i am waiting for nothing really when i take a breath, but how much of my days are spent holding on for some answer.

i am not offering advice about it.
it just strikes me right now. we are all waiting....there dosn't seem to be much we can do about it but punctuate our waiting with words and with making things better when we can, by leaving things and people better than we found them.

i don't mind waiting really. i just kind of enjoy watching it all rise and fall. we are all too often just crashing like waves and gathering again and again.
