when we all grow old

so yesterday our bus broke down, and we had to get to a show. we ended up arriving at the show 8 hours late. the kids were superb and great!
it had been a long time since i was so tired and exhausted and just over everything in general.
i hate being worn down so far, but life is a daring adventure or nothing at all....or so the saying goes.


canada is so large and these drives are terribly long, and tonight was the first show with the headliner. british columbia is so beautiful, and everything seems to be green, and there is a chill in the fresh breeze coming from the arctic circle. there are times in everyones life where they are sure they could have easily done something else in life. and today i was certian i could have been a great map maker in the 1800s.

i am tired, so very tired, and the tour is just winding up. i have bags under my eyes, and i am dehydrated a touch i believe. fortunately we have a drive day tomorrow so i can get a good nights sleep.

i look forward to the summer, its heat and hard work always make me feel at the top of my physical ability. but not to the constant sweating.....in any case ben folds posted this picture.
