oh well, and then canada only turns off the sun for about 4 hours in the summer. so last night i drove through the last leg of my canadian journey. i got to the arena and settled into my dressing room, grabbed a shower and stole some breakfast that wasnt mine! it was only 2 bowls of cheerios so i think it is ok!
in any case this is my last day for a while with shiny toy guns. its a bitter sweet thing, like it always, but in the name of progress and making more money i must say adeu!
there are people, and then...there are people that you really miss....i think that we should miss everyone, and really try to connect with every person we have contact with. this business i am in requires that i meet and work with 4-10 new people every day. it has made me more conscious of myself in small moments as i try to reach out to other people from vastly different life experiences.
touring in large part puts a microscope on humanity if you can observe it doing so.
we played a show in regina last night and it was great, i will miss working with these guys, but i am sure this wont be the last time i work with them.
i am gonna go find a tim hortons, and catch up on some emails, then fly to atlanta to be home for 24 hours before warped tour.
